Solar monitoring tracks your system’s energy production. It helps detect performance issues early so you don’t lose out on savings.
Many solar systems can go offline without you knowing. Monitoring ensures you’re notified if your system underperforms or stops producing altogether.
You’ll receive production alerts, monthly performance reports, issue diagnostics, and support from our solar tech team.
No. If you have a smart inverter like Enphase, SolarEdge, or Tesla, we can usually connect directly. If not, we’ll guide you on the best way to get connected.
We’ll alert you and provide recommendations. If needed, we can coordinate service with our technicians or your installer.
Plans start as low as $10/month. You can choose a level of service that fits your needs.

All monitoring is done remotely from our internal portal where we can visualize and understand the system’s data.
Yes, system alerts worth noting are forwarded to your email. However, not all alerts are true concerns. The Solar Medix team will notify homeowners when an alert warrants a visit.
There is a Solar Medix App that can be found in the Google Play store and Apple App store!
Yes, energy production can be tracked via the app as long as you have the proper monitoring hardware on site! Consumption is available for certain hardware providers and can be installed as an add-on service.
Yes, reports on your systems performance will be sent monthly to your email!
Maintenance
Yes, the Premium Performance plan offers yearly check ups included! If you prefer, you can also use your Yearly Preventative Maintenance visit for a service call aswell! You can also carry over 1 unused Preventative Maintenance visit to the following year. Cleanings are not covered on this plan, but if you would like routine cleanings, speak to your solar advisor today about discounts for yearly cleanings that can be added to your monthly premium.
The team will notify you when an alert is harmful to the systems production and warrants a visit. We have found that there are too many alerts that worry customers that may be due to unrelated issues and therefore will self-correct. Solar Medix will navigate these alerts to ensure your system is producing at peak performance.
Repairs, replacements and upgrades are discounted for both plans. The largest savings on reactive repairs and upgrades will be with the Premium Performance Plan.
Payment: Coverage & Cost
Solar system components are typically covered through the manufacturer. Although the plan does not cover the components of the solar system, we will work with the manufacturer to get your parts warrantied.
There is no minimum subscription term or contract! We don’t believe in locking someone into to something they don’t want anymore like those pesky phone companies! However, there is a $75.00 savings on the enrollment free if you subscribe for the full year.
Of course, the plan is fully transferable! We encourage new customers. Who better to cover the new homeowners than the folks that have been maintaining it all along.
We have seen a higher confidence in buyers who already have the solar system covered.
Troubleshooting
Depending on the type of hardware you have will determine how quickly the issue is reported, however we have noted the average time for most reporting hardware is between 15 – 60 mins. Remember, not all alerts are worth immediately raising the flag. Our team will diagnose the issues remotely and notify you if it is of concern.
